Contest terms and conditions
Given the great popularity of the (Axagon) riddles format last year, we decided to follow up and continue – this time with BeQuiet!. The product portfolio of this brand is very close to our focus and can make the search for what you see in the photo-detail all the more interesting. We’ll evaluate that at the end of the year and see. But for now, you will need to tackle the first, January challenge. The most successful solvers will be rewarded for that one, too.
During the year we will publish twelve riddles (one each month) to be solved. How? In the header of each riddle, or in the headline of the article, there will be a photo of a part of the component that you have to reveal and name.
The details may point to more than one correct option. If, for example, there are different product variants with common visual features (just a different model… with different fan speeds, for example) or the macro photo does not show any differences (this can be the case with liquid coolers of different sizes, for example), then there may be more than one correct option. We will, of course, accept all of them.
Send your answers to info@hwcooling.net with the subject BeQuiet! Riddle (x/2024), where “x” is the number of the given month. All messages that arrive within seven days of the publication of each riddle will be entered.
In the end, when evaluating, the speed with which you send the messages will also be important. We expect that there will be a greater number of successful solvers and the podium will depend on how nimble you were in responding, in addition to the correct answers. This means that contestants with a shorter average response time will end up higher in the rankings.
Prizes will be awarded to the three most successful contestants, where the first will be able to choose one of all the products we will have tested in 2025, the second then chooses from the remainder (all tested products minus one, which will go to the most successful solver), and the third will follow a similar pattern (choice of all tested products minus two, which are already held by the more successful solvers). There will certainly be plenty to choose from. BeQuiet! plans to release a lot of products this year, and we will cover most of them in our tests.
The contest is open to everyone, but the prize can only be delivered to a European address. Entrants from other continents must therefore partly sort out the logistics themselves in the event of a prize win. For others (from European Union countries), the prize will be delivered directly to their home by a delivery courier.
